PATHWAYS TO EMPLOYMENT

Goal
Community members have access to, and knowledge of, employment connection supports that allow them to enter the job market or maintain current employment.

Why It Matters
Meaningful employment can provide financial stability, opportunities for growth, and increased participation in community life. Access to employment supports, training, education, and childcare can help reduce barriers and create pathways to employment for people with diverse experiences and skills.

What We’re Doing

The Coalition works with community members and partners to:

• Support opportunity and skill development for those who are not connected to employment.
• Advocate for accessible and affordable childcare that helps parents participate in the workforce.
• Share information about upskilling and education opportunities.
• Promote stories and local data that highlight successful pathways to employment.
• Encourage communication between social services, coalition members, local employers, or employment and business-related entities.
